Sweet RDA IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Sweet in San José: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
The honest read on sweet: 15 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at sweet in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sweet in San José works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet RDA really costs in San José
Sweet RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
