Citrus pod kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Citrus in San José: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Citrus pod kit here
Citrus in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in San José
Citrus in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.75 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.

Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
