What a vanilla 10 ml bottle really costs in San José

Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.

How we tested vanilla in a 10 ml bottle

1. Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where vanilla goes wrong

• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
• Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.29 per 10 ml.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in San José survives.
