Apple cartomizer IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Apple in San José: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.01 per 10 ml.
Apple cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple cartomizer really costs in San José
Apple in San José reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested apple in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
