Cola RDA IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Cola in San José: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Cola is allowed to say
A cola RDA from the flat-rate options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Cola in San José reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola RDA really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested cola in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.42 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
