Sweet squonk mod IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Sweet in San José: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Sweet squonk mod here
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Sweet in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in San José
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.74 per 10 ml.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.74 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
