Guava mesh tank IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Guava in San José: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What guava costs in San José
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at guava in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: guava in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in San José
The honest read on guava: 12 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.6 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Packaging for guava in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
