Sweet prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Sweet in San José: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Sweet prefilled pod here
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: sweet in San José works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet prefilled pod really costs in San José

How we tested sweet in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.18 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in San José survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.18 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does sweet in a prefilled pod last?
In San José we measured 9 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
