Sweet pen device IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Sweet in San José: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
We run sweet the same way in San José: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pen device really costs in San José
Sweet in San José reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
