Sourcherry sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with sourcherry in Costa Rica
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run sourcherry the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Sourcherry sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sourcherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for sourcherry in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
