Licorice 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Licorice in San José: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run licorice the same way in San José: same 10 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at licorice in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested licorice in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
