Sourcherry nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Sourcherry in San José: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good nicotine salt bottle from a repack
Sourcherry in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
A sourcherry nicotine salt bottle from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
