Plain e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in San José: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a e-liquid bundle for plain
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a e-liquid bundle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Plain e-liquid bundle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the e-liquid bundle you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
The honest read on plain: 21 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a e-liquid bundle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest e-liquid bundle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.58 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
