Candy 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Candy in San José: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Candy 100 ml bottle here
Candy in San José reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run candy the same way in San José: same 100 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: candy in San José works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested candy in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.32 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
