Passionfruit refill pack IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at passionfruit in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: passionfruit in San José works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit refill pack really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested passionfruit in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long passionfruit in San José survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
How long does passionfruit in a refill pack last?
In San José we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
