Nutty starter kit IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Nutty in San José: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Nutty starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at nutty in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a nutty starter kit really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested nutty in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for nutty in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
