Mintice 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Mintice in San José: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Mintice in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: mintice in San José works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.18 per 10 ml.
How we tested mintice in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.18 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mintice in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
