Mint 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Mint in San José: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Mint 60 ml bottle here
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on mint: 16 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at mint in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mint in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.74 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
