The short version: mango in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango mesh tank really costs in San José
A mango mesh tank from the cheapest options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mango in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mango goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in San José survives.
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡1.72 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
