Licorice pod kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Licorice in San José: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on licorice: 20 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: licorice in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice pod kit really costs in San José
A licorice pod kit from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.57 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
