Iced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Iced in San José: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Iced in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A iced 30 ml shortfill from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.99 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested iced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.99 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in San José survives.
