Guava nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Guava in San José: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for guava
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.92 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at guava in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
We run guava the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.92 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
