Honey pen device IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Honey in San José: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Honey pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.28 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey pen device really costs in San José
Honey sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested honey in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where honey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why honey tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.28 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
