Frozen mesh tank IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Frozen in San José: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Costa Rica
A frozen mesh tank from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen mesh tank really costs in San José
If you are looking at frozen in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.88 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.88 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
