Apple vape pen IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Apple in San José: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Apple in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: apple in San José works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple vape pen really costs in San José
We run apple the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.54 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.54 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
