Fig mesh tank IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Fig in San José: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with fig in Costa Rica
A fig mesh tank from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig mesh tank really costs in San José
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.05 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where fig goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for fig in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
