Coconut 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Coconut in San José: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What coconut costs in San José
We run coconut the same way in San José: same 100 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.19 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
A coconut 100 ml bottle from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.19 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coconut in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.19 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for coconut in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
