Citrus sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Citrus in San José: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for citrus
A citrus sub-ohm kit from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Citrus sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Citrus in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
