Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A citrus nicotine salt bottle from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.47 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.47 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
