Candy 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Candy in San José: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
We run candy the same way in San José: same 100 ml bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Candy 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on candy: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where candy goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.24 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.24 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
