Lemon starter kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Lemon in San José: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Lemon in San José reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on lemon: 19 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon starter kit really costs in San José
We run lemon the same way in San José: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.74 per 10 ml.
