Home / Apple 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the order shortlist

How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack

Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.26 per 10 ml.

The short version: apple in San José works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a apple 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José

A apple 30 ml shortfill from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.26 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

How we tested apple in a 30 ml shortfill

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.

• Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.

Where apple goes wrong

• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Packaging for apple in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
