Vanilla nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Vanilla in San José: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good nicotine salt bottle from a repack
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.76 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at vanilla in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested vanilla in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.76 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
