Vanilla 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Vanilla in San José: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
A vanilla 100 ml bottle from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.83 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on vanilla: 6 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested vanilla in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
