Lemon squonk mod IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Lemon in San José: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Lemon squonk mod here
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A lemon squonk mod from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon squonk mod really costs in San José
If you are looking at lemon in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested lemon in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.77 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
