Tropical zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the price shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Tropical in San José: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
Tropical zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested tropical in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
