Melon mesh tank IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Melon in San José: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a mesh tank for melon
A melon mesh tank from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Melon mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon mesh tank really costs in San José
If you are looking at melon in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.72 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
