Tropical 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Tropical in San José: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
If you are looking at tropical in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on tropical: 14 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
