Tobacco RDA IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Tobacco in San José: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Tobacco RDA here
We run tobacco the same way in San José: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tobacco RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: tobacco in San José works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco RDA really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tobacco in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tobacco in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
