Sweet sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Sweet in San José: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for sweet
We run sweet the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.48 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sweet in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
