Sweet refill pack IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Sweet in San José: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with sweet in Costa Rica
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.66 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet refill pack really costs in San José
Sweet refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sweet in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
