Mintice 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Mintice in San José: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Mintice is allowed to say
A mintice 30 ml shortfill from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.64 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run mintice the same way in San José: same 30 ml shortfill, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mintice 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Mintice in San José reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mintice in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in San José survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
