Sweet mesh tank IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Sweet in San José: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on sweet: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sweet in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: sweet in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet mesh tank really costs in San José
A sweet mesh tank from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.34 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How long does sweet in a mesh tank last?
In San José we measured 9 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
