Spiced squonk mod IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Spiced in San José: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.62 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at spiced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced squonk mod really costs in San José
Spiced in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested spiced in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
