Spiced mesh tank IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Spiced in San José: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What spiced costs in San José
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Spiced mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced mesh tank really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.31 per 10 ml.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for spiced in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.

Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.31 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
