Where buyers go wrong with blackcurrant in Costa Rica

We run blackcurrant the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.37 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.37 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
