Spiced mesh tank IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Spiced in San José: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What spiced costs in San José
We run spiced the same way in San José: same mesh tank, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced mesh tank really costs in San José
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.84 per 10 ml.
How we tested spiced in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
