Passionfruit refill pack IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the passionfruit habit
Passionfruit in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A passionfruit refill pack from the cheapest options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit refill pack really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested passionfruit in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long passionfruit in San José survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does passionfruit in a refill pack last?
In San José we measured 4 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On passionfruit the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.8 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
