Spiced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Spiced in San José: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Spiced in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José

How we tested spiced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is spiced legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.19 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
