Spiced 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Spiced in San José: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A spiced 100 ml bottle from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.28 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
